Cloud · Infrastructure · AI
Cloud Square is a deliberately small company — one engineer, end to end. We design, host, and look after business systems: cloud, storage, networking, integration, and lately some genuinely useful AI — for a few long-standing clients, and for ourselves.

What we do
The disciplines Cloud Square works across — for a small set of long-standing clients, from a nonprofit to part of a global insurer's support systems, and for its own operations. The same careful approach whether it's one system or a large build.
Setting up cloud environments that don’t need babysitting — sized for what they actually do, patched, and watched.
Data that survives mistakes and bad days. Backups that actually restore — because they get tested before they’re needed.
Networks that behave — segmented, secured, and documented, from the firewall down to the Wi-Fi.
Getting systems that were never meant to meet to work together — without throwing out the parts that still earn their keep.
AI worked into real workflows — receipts, documents, bookkeeping, reporting — on private data, kept in-house and shipped as real apps.
The unglamorous part: monitoring, updates, and fixing what breaks — calmly, and preferably before it becomes a story.
New · Practical AI
Cloud Square didn't need an AI strategy — it needed the tedious parts of running a business to disappear. So practical AI got built into the operations we already run: bookkeeping, receipts, statements, reporting. Private by default, on our own data and infrastructure.
Assistants that know the company’s documents, records, and systems — and answer us, not the internet. Nothing leaves the house.
Receipts that scan and file themselves, statements that categorize themselves, reports that write themselves. The boring 20% of every week, gone.
Search, summarize, and extract from the contracts, statements, and paperwork that used to be write-only storage.
Smarter alerting and assisted triage layered onto infrastructure that was already being watched.
Private by design — nothing trains on client or company data.

How we work
Client systems and Cloud Square's own are held to one standard: does it work, will it recover, and can someone explain it plainly when it doesn't.
Everything Cloud Square runs is designed, operated, and repaired by the same pair of hands. When something breaks, there is no queue to hide behind.
Staying small keeps decisions fast and honest — no account managers, no upsells, no meetings about meetings. When a build needs more hands, it gets them; the standard stays the same at any scale.
Least privilege, encrypted storage, second factors, tested restores — because client data and our own are held to the same standard.
Portable architectures, plain notes, and exports that actually work. Any system we build, a client should be able to walk away with cleanly.
Integration
Technology arrives in layers, and most of the old layers still matter. The craft is making every generation talk to the next.
Past
On-prem servers, aging ERPs, file shares, industry-specific software that will never see a rewrite. We connect it, secure it, and keep it useful instead of forcing a risky rip-and-replace.
Present
The current stack — cloud workloads, Microsoft 365, identity, SaaS tools — unified with single sign-on, shared data, and one security model instead of a pile of subscriptions.
Future
When the infrastructure and data are already in good order, layering on AI assistants, automation, and analytics is an upgrade — not a migration project.
Get in touch
Cloud Square stays small on purpose — but not small in what it can take on. From a single stubborn system to a large, multi-team build, we handle the planning, architecture, and hands-on implementation, and scale up when a project needs it. If that's the kind of help you're after, let's talk.
